Special treat for Bird Watchers.....................SARAS CRANES

Hi All,

One more time I got chance to saw more than 15 SARAS crane giant birds in a row (group), generally they are found in pair or max three in group.

So Those who are intrested in watching SARAS bird along with other foreigner birds, can contact me. I will guide them for the road and if possible I will come with them also. There are 2-3 fixed places where you can easily find SAras birds. Those who are new to this bird can read my earlier post here about the same.

SARAS Crane bird in group (rarely available) & good weekend place near Ahmedabad.

Generally SARAS Crane bird found in pair of two, maximum at three. But here in below picture you will be amazed to see more than 15 Saras Crane Bird at the same place. This place is near to Kheda in Gujarat. Enjoy the pics. I have video of the same also. You can contact me for the same.  My photo quality is not that much good (not a high end camera), but main thing is that the place where I have taken these photos , SAras crane birds available almost through the year.

This place is Parieej Lake, on the way to Kheda-Khambhat. You will find birds and water here in each season.  Gujarat Govt has made it eco tourism point. They have made specia sand dunes for birds. Actually this big lake was the source to the Saurashtra water during 1998-2003.

This place is on the main road. You don’t have to go interior for the view of birds. There is watch tower, rest rooms, small garden there for tourists at eco point. It is one of the good weekend place for the people of Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand. It is nearly 55-60Km away from Ahmedabad.
