If you need centralized and web based software for request/incident management

Just think of your IT staff receiving tickets from other departmnets for software, hardware , other requirements and particular queue is working on particular requests. You will get reports mothly, weekly about how much work done, what kind of requests generally coming in, categorize.

Now suppose you got live support, knowledge-base, survey module, time accounting in the same software. I have found one in below link

http://is.gd/LIP1XX

Just go there, look if you have any similar requirement. Price will be not concern, you will not asked for user or system licenece, scalable at your wish.

Entrepreneurship continues.........................

Entrepreneur is totally different trait of the businessman. They are basically learners from every corner of the life.

Main thing is that they don’t have money at the center point like businessman, they don’t have stability at the center point like hawkers, street vendors & shop owners.

They have their own set of goal predefined mostly raging in maximum employment generation – fame –social cause etc. So what they are doing to achieve the same, because path is almost same like any common businessman. It is they are learning from each and everyone. They will learn

  • How to start any business without over preparation and planning FROM street vegetable sellers and seasonal traders. (they will not learn that these people are at the same level for their lifetime)
  • How to grow business extensively within short time period FROM ambanis and tatas
  • How to integrate social work with business FROM NGO and trusts
  • How to integrate technology with the business and update it time to time FROM experts in the fields.

So if you are not observing the same thing, start learning/observing. Give your thoughts on this.

Greatest motivational sppech ever from person who has imple every single word

Hear the greatest motivation speech ever. This speech will not only let you hear it for whole 30 mins, but inspire you about success. Let me know your reactions in comments, only constraint is that this speech is in Gujarati. Get any Gujju friend in your office and then reply back. It is a must listen thing for entrepreneur, businessman. Main thing is that this man not only says, but implement it and that also successfully.

Entrepreneur…………………If you a little bit........just provoke it

By Himanshu Acharya

Hello readers, I am back with one more controversial topic. Earlier I had written article on “Gujarat deserve more from NRG’s”, during that time I was based in Bombay. One critic had asked me about the same and now as per my planning I am in Ahmedabad forever. Now this time not being entrepreneur at this particular time I am going to write about the same as I have planned for the same in near future I will surely become entrepreneur and gradually fulfill wishes mentioned in below article.

http://hims30482.blogspot.com/2009/12/call-to-my-nrg-friends.html
http://deshgujarat.com/2009/10/20/himanshu-acharya-writes-gujarat-deserves-more-from-nrgs/

Now about this article, I could have been wrote the title as “How to be….., Want to become…..  etc, but this article is not about such things. This article is just to clear some doubts, educate our youngsters, get some information and that’s it.

First of all, Gujarat has been pioneer in this particular field (entrepreneur) and our consistent over 10% GDP’s credit goes to this only. There are n numbers of individual as well as company examples in Gujarat in 100 years of history. But what about current competition, globalization era. In last 15-20 years there are not so much cases compared to previous. Why is it so:

  •       Our British age education system, which has started showing its effect. Slave mentality and no   respect towards out ancient culture, wrong history and many more.
  •     Attraction towards engineering, doctors profession
  •    High competition in each and every market area.
  •    Globalization, after which competition become more and more.
  •     Lacking in innovative ideas
  •     Main reason “unawareness” about proper guidance, market, industry leaders etc, I will elaborate on this mainly as we all are aware about others.

Unawareness:

About proper Govt. offices and facilities:  Very few (less than 5%) youngsters know about EDI, CED, iNDEXT C.

First CED (Centre for Enterprenurship development) : It is run by Gujarat State Government and headquarter in UDYOG BHAVAN, Gandhinagar. CED conducts regularly week long or month long program for Individuals. There will be a small advertisement in all leading newspapers whenever CED conducts such program. Fee is also very less (around 500 or max 1000). They will provide very useful information about
Where to go -- respective Government departments, Banks, VCs etc
How to go – Govt procedures, Banking procedures, Initial registration etc
What to prepare – Basic skills, business plan, reports, Documentation etc
www.ced-gujarat.org

EDI (Entrepreneurship Development Institute): This is IIM like Internationally recognized and central Govt run premier Institute.  It is located near BHAT, Indira bridge, Ahmedabad. It has mainly two programs, one is two year Family business Entrepreneur Development program and second is one year  distance learning program. For our Gujju youth second program is more suitable where we directly get senior IIM professors as our mentors. There is 3 days session twice in the year where we can interact with other participants. Fees for the same is 10000 from this year onwards, earlier it was 5K.
www.ediindia.org

iNDEXT B (Industrial extension bureau ): It is the main office which deals with new large or small scale industries. Anyone can go and meet iNDEXT C official and ask for help/direction. It is located at again UDYOG BHAVAN, Gandhinagar. CED is working in sync with iNDEXT C. It is the primary interface between any individual who want to be entrepreneur and Government.

MGLI : Mahatma Gandhi Labor Institute, Gurukul area, Ahmedabad
One more Guj Govt institute which runs 2 month certificate course for EDP. Just wait for advertisement in leading newspapers.

DIC : District Industrial Compassionate
This is Gujarat Govt entity which approves any project proposal for any Govt incentive/refund/subsidy scheme. You need to prepare project report and submit it to DIC.

CIIE: This is center for innovation run by IIM-A. Give good support for startup having unique idea.
www.ciieindia.org/

There are many more central agencies which are involved in the same field. They offer many type of schemes and subsidies for entrepreneur. You can visit

Mainly, I want to give an idea to our youngsters what options they have, how can they approach and succeed. There are some more sites available which are useful for startups like;

http://gidc.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/gujarat-industry-registration/
http://ic.gujarat.gov.in/

Now Moving to second topic : INDUSTRY and INDUSTRY leaders:
There are associations like GESIA, GIDC, GuCCI and many more where individual entrepreneur can have guidance, networking, business and many more.

There is one request to young entrepreneur, make aim of more and more employment instead of profit, you will surely succeed, if possible go for product, service based industry instead of commission (dalal) based industry.

Please read above books whenever you got time, rich dad poor dad teaches very good lesson about asset and liability step by step and Good to great teaches why leadership and innovation is necessary for any company. Click on above books to have a look at above books.

Part 2 – Entrepreneurship

We all have desire to become free :
• Free from Job, rude boss, 9-7 routine, stress
• Free from regular financial crisis.
• Free from timing problems between office, home and social life

So what is the solution……………….ENTREPRENEUR……………….become ENTREPRENEUR

But wait, if it was so simple, then everyone will become the same and no one doing job……………so what stops most of them to become entrepreneur ??. Lets see some of the factors :

Risk taking factor: risk to think out of box (routine job), risk to convert idea into action, risk to stake yourself against your goal and many more
It is the essential one primary requirement. Risk may be moderated, calculated but it must be there.
Innovative: Innovative does not mean something totally new, it is not at all necessary that you require unique, monopoly type idea to start any business. You can start any business and with your innovative nature you can take your venture to new heights. It may be some process innovation, management innovation, production mechanism innovation, marketing innovation …….it may be anything but it must be there. You can say it is secondary requirement.

Some good Management and Entrepreneurship things

First of simple definition of the both terms:

Management : to manage the things, it might be administrative, strategically or anything.
Entrepreneur: to initiate and manage and complete and expand
Every Entrepreneur is good manager, but not even 5% managers are good Entrepreneur.

So what stops them to become Entrepreneur…………………………..
is it risk taking ability (but they are taking risk in decisions most of the times at strategic levels),
is it lack of exp or edu (they got topmost education and exp since their childhood most of the cases),
is it their attitude (but they are already successful with same attitude in their professional life)
So list is bit long, we will not go into dipper, because I am more interested in Entrepreneurship……………not the reasons, circumstances, opportunities, background

My driving force is the “DO SOMETHING NEW OR DO SOMETHING IN NEW WAY”, and I don’t see any hurdles like time constraint, support, opportunities not available or anything. They can only delay, but they cant stop you to become Entrepreneur. This feeling is within most of the time, and by chance sometimes. There are some examples available for motivation purpose like Dhurubhai, Karsankaka and many more. There are some books like “Stay foolish Stay focused” “ Connect the dots”, “management ni bodhkathao”, “Good to Great” which will surely made you feel like Entrepreneur or good manager.

Now lets look at one real-time example of innovative Entrepreneur,
• At Tirupati, in main bazaar area, one person has started a new kind of shop, where there is only sitting arrangement with AC and good relaxing chairs and TV…………he is charging some 20-30 rs/hour for the same………….

Rest continued ……………………in part 2

Don’t Demand the things, make it happen

Today I learnt a new thing, don’t demand much, just explore another ways to getting things done. I will elaborate more once I implement the same and get results.
