Oasis Organic Farm and Gaushala…....A Place on the earth where I want to take my family for Holiday

Dear Readers,
It may look strange to most of readers, but really my whole family consisting my darling wife and little cutie want to go to place where one river, mountain, organic farms, cows, temples coincides. Obviously it depends on one’s nature and choice about places, but luckily our choice is common in this regard.

I had been to this place oasis farm twice in recent years, now just look at Oasis Valleys located @ CHANOD , 70 KM away from Vadodara, a famous city in our Gujarat.  It has

  •          Holy River Narmada just 100 Mt. Away.
  •          It is located on the river banks of Narmada, so there are plenty little mountain for trekking, playing etc.
  •          There are organic farms where we can walk around, can do labour work on our own, can collect the fruits………….do whatever we like to do.
  •          There is one gaushala based on desi cows only (which I like most ) with plenty of small calves, Bullock cart ride etc.
  •          There is one institute over there where we can volunteer, where we can teach our liking/expertise subject to others and can learn whatever we like to learn. There are 24 different activities going on in different classes.
  •          And finally in nearby town of Chanod (1.5Km away), we can find multiple temples where we can worship, can do pooja-vidhi etc. There are more than 100 temples in this town.
  •          There are so many tourist location in and around this place like kevadiay colony(Sardar Sarovar Dam) , dence forest, Garudeshwar etc.  There are so many old ancient monument you can find on road also like tensing lake (5 KM before chanod), dhabhi fort (20KM before chanod)
I will go for river bath, trekking, gaushala seva and doing innovation in organic farming during my stay. So as mentioned above each of us will get our liking things there and that is the key for inner enjoyment at any place. Otherwise there are so many tourist destinations where we can get good photo frames, but joy is missing. You can have some very good photographs to show others, but you don’t have anything to show for yourself. Here at this place we can have satisfaction, memory for lifetime, and above all one goal to replicate the same.

This post is meant for indiblogger and www.yatra.com contest and to all my blog readers to spend their holiday with nature. Here are some photographs of my earlier visit……..

Hobby Sharing................OLD COIN COLLECTION from 18th Century onwards...........Part 2

Hi Friends,

This post is linked to this one Part-1, where I had promised to post photos of my coin and stamp collection. Yes , it has taken much more time but at last here it is.

I have collected this coins and stamps wherever I got chance, like at my uncle's place, from mela's (fair), from pasti, from older one etc.

Also, if anyone interested further, in Gujarat there are many societies active for the stamp and coins individually.
  1. Gujarat philately Society : Monthly meeting on every second sunday @ Sanidhya building, Ashram road, Ahmedabad. A Group of collectors, distributor and professionals also, but if one is die hard stamp collector, he must definately go there.
  2. Gujarat Coin Society:  Monthly one meeting on first sunday@ nr.Lucky theatre, Ahmedabad. Same as above.

Stamp and coins have become source of income for many, as locally and globally market demand is very much high. To prove the same, there are more number of dealers and investor rather than actual collector in this field.

Now some photographs.

Hobby sharing--Biking - A tool to check your risk taking ability

Adventure, Biking, Risk and me.

First of all I would like to define me as a risky (more adventures ) biker who likes to ride bike for constantly check my risk taking ability. My romance with biking begins almost 10 years back and still continues though I have car. I like to ride it on open highway as well as in dense forest and also on the sea shore.

Since my childhood I have a dream of riding royal Enfield or rajdoot. I have ride it so many times, but still it is far from my reach. One more dream included in thousands that I will ride my Enfield in the white rann of kutch OR/AND at Leh (with my close friend PARTH) at more than 150 speed. I ride bike risky, speed is not risky but the my judgments are risky. Like taking  70 degree turn at 40-50 speed, break at very last moment and that also if at all necessary.

Currently I have Yamaha bike, which I ride from almost 7 years without any problem. I had ridden this one into jungle also, into the heavy slopes also and in many places where normal person do not dare to drive. Just two days back, me and my wife went to our favorite spot, where I used to ride the bike at 60 speed but in dense forest like place in Gandhinagar behind Sachivalaya. Those who are from Gandhinagar will have a idea about the same.

I would like to share one of experience where I had 10 stitches and minor crack in my left leg. That was the my first job and night shifts. I used to come home by 11 PM and by the road where one big circle comes in between. Every day I used to take full speed turn at that circle, I did that for almost 1 month with variation in speed and in degree of turn and finally on one day I decided to take full 90 degree turn with 40KM speed at the same place. There was a slight misjudgment from my side and simply collide with the circle concrete wall. There was no person nearby 2 KM area, I know that whatever I have to, I have to do it by own. Though I had severe cut and crack in my right leg (where we used to kick), I kicked the bike, ride the bike and reach my home (which is 3KM away). Then by reaching home, my brother immediately took me to the hospital and stitched.

But still I used to take same turns at same speed whenever I got chance. My wife DHARA, after 8 years of marriage, still fears when I take a turn, I take this as positive sign that still charm is there. Whomever sits beside me on my bike either does not want to sit next time or love to sit every time. One more memorable experience of biking is to ride the bike on seashore (at Dumas with Dipak Lad on his bike).

So biking is like fun, risk, adventures to me, I find any one form with every ride and that makes me happier though I have back pain(during long rides) problem.

Will share other experience/experiments with bike/car in future posts. You are welcome to share your experiences. You can visit www.facebook.com/CastrolBiking for more experience of biking.

Transform your Life ………..Part2 ………Clarity in Life

We had seen in this post about overall outline of transforming the life. Now let’s see the setting priorities part in detail. Overall outline is like this;

S )           Do you have any chart prepared for next 5 years, 10 years or so.
U )          Have you done your own SWOT analysis
C)            Do you have defined your priorities
c)            Have you written your desires and GOALS, both are totally different things.
e)            Do you have any detailed written action plan for each of your goal
s)            Do you have monitoring mechanism in place.

Priorities: Human life is driven by priorities. Sometime we predefine it and in most of the cases we have to do that dynamically. So which one is the best?

Predefined Priorities            OR   Dynamic Priorities

My priority is PREDEFINED one, because it gives CLARITY. Clarity about further course of life, our actions and our goals. Everything is so much clear that there is least chance of confusion or duality. So which are the set of things, defining which we can have 90 % clarity in our future life.

I have done this and by doing the same you can also get the peace of mind, faster actions and less hurdles in your achievements.

These are the things which need to be setup once; later on you will follow it automatically. Only some practice needed. It might be possible that due to some circumstances, you may not in state of predefined priority but keeping in the mind the same; you will definitely get the same within short time:
1)
  •  1      Money or Family
  • 2       Job You want OR Job you got
  • 3      Self pride OR Relationship
  • 4      Family or Friends
  • 5      Mother, Father Vs the Rest
  • 6      થોડું થોડું સુખ કે ઘણું બધું સુખ એક સાથે (want frequent happiness in day to day life OR want it in gross  after some time)
Now comes the main part
  • 7      Your Mother OR Your Wife              ----- Define it and read it out with your wife/mother, it will eliminate 50 % problems of yours.
  • 8      Routine life OR innovation in Life every day.
  • 9     Goals OR Desire
  • 10   Money for future OR Money for current
  • 11  Family values OR personal priorities
  • 12   Always trust others OR always suspect others.
  • 13   Risk OR routine
  • 14   Family first OR Nation first.
  • 15   Set the example or Follow the example

I have identified and defined above things and shown it to my wife and conveyed to my mother also, I have also encouraged my wife to do the same and she did it also. Result of the same is that we don’t have single quarrel in our 8 year of married life on the topic of my mother or my family.
Choosing 15 things above will not only give you clarity in your day to day life, but it will so many hurdles knowingly or unknowingly.

Please note that we are social animals and we are living in society, freedom is necessary but there are certain limits/boundaries, we need to take decision accordingly and appropriately. And once done, stick with it. Out next chapter will be on honoring you words, which is relevant to current one also.

In coming post we will see goal setting.
